Apply for Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters 2025 (Fully-funded Scholarship)

Erasmus Mundus, a flagship initiative by the European Commission, offers students and scholars a unique opportunity to engage in cross-cultural learning, pursue advanced studies, and collaborate internationally. The program offers Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degrees, prestigious international master’s programs designed and delivered by a consortium of higher education institutions. These programs involve at least three institutions from different countries, along with academic and non-academic partners.

Typically, these joint master’s programs include periods of study, research, internships, and thesis preparation. They are aimed at enhancing academic excellence, promoting intercultural exchange, and helping students develop a global perspective.

Scholarship Opportunities

One of the highlights of Erasmus Mundus is the availability of scholarships for the best-ranked students worldwide. The scholarship package covers various expenses such as:

Program Duration

Degree Awarded

Depending on your chosen program, you’ll receive either:

  • A joint degree, which is a single certificate awarded by at least two institutions
  • Multiple degrees, where you’ll receive certificates from different institutions within the consortium

Application Process

Applications are generally submitted between October and January for programs beginning the following academic year. Each program’s website will provide specific details about the course structure, participating universities, entry requirements, and the application process—whether you’re applying with or without a scholarship.

Entry Requirements

To apply for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree or be in your final year of undergraduate studies
  • You must graduate before the program begins

Alternatively, you may be eligible if you have a bachelor’s equivalent recognized in the country that awards the degree.
