If you’re a young professional passionate about cultural and natural heritage, here’s a rare opportunity to grow your expertise, connect globally, and make an impact.

UNESCO is inviting applications for the 2025 World Heritage Young Professionals Forum, happening from 1 to 8 July 2025 at its headquarters in Paris, France. This prestigious event is part of the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee and is being held under the theme: “World Heritage in an Interconnected World: Leveraging Digital Technologies and Innovative Approaches.”

Supported by the Republic of Bulgaria, the forum is designed to bring together young professionals from around the world to explore how modern tools—like artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, drones, digital mapping, and 3D modeling—can be used to protect and promote World Heritage. Participants will also develop fresh ideas for sustainable heritage management and community involvement.

By the end of the forum, the young delegates will present a joint Declaration at the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee.

What’s in it for you?
UNESCO will cover all expenses including round-trip economy flights, accommodation, meals, local transport, and visa fees. Travel assistance and visa support will also be provided.
