Lagos State University (LASU) has officially announced that student loans from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) have been disbursed to applicants who met the requirements.
In a tweet shared on Sunday, the university confirmed that the approved funds have been credited directly to the students’ school fees accounts.
Students who applied for the loan can check their application status by entering their matriculation number on the portal via this link: https://lasu.edu.ng/nelfund.
“If your status appears as successful, please note that the Directorate of ICT has credited your school fees account directly with the NELFUND loan fund, and you can proceed to register for your first semester courses for the 2024/2025 academic session,” LASU stated.
The university also mentioned that successful students can print their school fees receipts directly from the registration portal after completing the registration process.
For questions or concerns about the loan application or how to apply, students are encouraged to contact the Directorate of Interventions via email at [email protected]. Similarly, issues related to school fees payments should be directed to the Directorate of ICT at [email protected].
This initiative marks a significant step in providing financial support to students and easing their academic journey at LASU.
