Are you passionate about advancing your nursing career? The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) invites qualified candidates to apply for its 2024/2025 Post-Registration Nursing Programme. This 18-month program leads to the prestigious Registered Nurse (RN) certification, providing you with the skills and qualifications needed to excel in the healthcare industry.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have five (5) credit passes in WASCE/GCE/NECO (in no more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Hold a Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
- Possess a minimum of one year of post-registration experience.
- Provide a reference letter from your current or most recent employer.
- Have a valid, up-to-date practicing license.
All documents must be uploaded as original scanned copies during the application process.

Follow these steps to apply:
- Make a non-refundable payment of ₦15,000 to the UBTH Treasury Single Account (TSA) via the Remita platform at any commercial bank. Choose the service type: Training School – Department of Nursing, College of Nursing Sciences.
- Make an additional payment of ₦500 to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee Edo State Account (Account No: 2004854377, First Bank of Nigeria).
- Upload proof of payment along with all required documents to complete your application.

- Entrance Examination: Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at 10:00 AM.
