The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti, will hold its 1st Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
The lecture will be delivered by the university’s Pioneer Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Olumide Moses Ogundipe, a Professor of Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering).
It is titled “Paving the Way to Sustainability: Asphalt Innovations for Safe and Durable Road Pavement.”
The topic reflects the university’s commitment to advancing knowledge, promoting innovation and offering practical solutions to society’s development needs.
The event is scheduled for 2pm at the University Auditorium, Takeoff site. Guests are expected to be seated by 1:45pm.
The invitation was issued in the name of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. James Olugbenga Aribisala.
