Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, has released its academic calendar for the 2026/2027 session.
According to the draft calendar published on Monday, academic activities will begin on September 28, 2026, and run until July 2, 2027.
The harmattan semester will kick off with lectures on October 12, 2026. Examinations for the semester are scheduled to hold between February 1 and 12, 2027.
For the rain semester, lectures will begin on March 1, 2027, while examinations will take place from June 14 to 25, 2027.
Registration for new students starts on September 28, 2026. Returning students are to begin their own registration on October 5, 2026.
All students have been given until November 13, 2026, to complete fee payments and finalise their registration.
Orientation for freshers will run from November 16 to 20, 2026, covering university-wide, college, faculty and departmental sessions.
Matriculation for new students has been fixed for November 24, 2026.
Students of OOU are advised to take note of these dates to avoid missing important deadlines as the new academic session begins.
