Nigerian students looking to pursue a master’s degree in the UK can now apply for Cranfield University’s 2025 Nigeria Scholarship. The scholarship supports eligible students enrolling full-time in select MSc programmes across the Environment, Agrifood, Water, and Energy fields.
The funding is designed to recognise academic excellence and help successful candidates reduce the financial burden of studying abroad.
Cranfield University will automatically consider applicants for the scholarship based on their undergraduate degree performance—no separate application is required.
Scholarship Value
The value of the scholarship depends on your academic achievement:
- First Class Honours (or international equivalent): 30% of your course fees covered, worth approximately £5,400 – £8,375 depending on the course.
- Upper Second-Class Honours (or international equivalent): 20% of your course fees covered, amounting to £3,600 – £5,585.
Who is Eligible?
To qualify, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be classified as an overseas fee-paying student
- Apply to a full-time MSc course in one of the following areas: Environment, Agrifood, Water, or Energy

If you’ve completed your undergraduate studies, your eligibility and scholarship value will be included in your offer letter. If you’re still studying, you’ll need to send in your final results before the scholarship can be confirmed.
Please allow up to two weeks after submitting your degree results for scholarship confirmation.
