The Registrar of the Federal University of Technology Akure, Mr Charles Adeleye, celebrated his 60th birthday on August 14, 2026.
Family, friends, colleagues and members of the university community joined him in marking the significant milestone.
The celebration featured a brief exhortation by a clergy member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The celebrant also serves as a pastor in the church.
The exhortation centered on thanksgiving with emphasis on Psalm 103:1-5.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji, commended Mr Adeleye for his dedication, professionalism and invaluable contributions to the university.
