The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, has released a circular informing all newly admitted students that academic activities for the 2026/2027 academic session will officially commence on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
The circular, dated October 6, 2026, and signed by the Senior Assistant Registrar, Academic Affairs Division, Miss Ayoola T. Fasipe, for the Registrar, was addressed to all newly admitted students.
To ensure a seamless onboarding process, the university outlined the following schedules and guidelines for freshers.
All fresh students are expected to arrive on campus on Sunday, October 11, 2026, for resumption.
Course registration and medical screening will run from Monday, October 12, to Friday, October 23, 2026.
Upon arrival, students are required to report directly to their respective Faculty Offices to collect their official student files and receive further directives regarding screening formalities, documentation and course registration. This is referred to as Faculty Clearance.
All fresh students are strongly advised to adhere strictly to these schedules.
The circular was copied to the Vice-Chancellor, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration and Clinical Services), the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), the Registrar, the University Librarian, the Bursary Coordinator, all Deans, all Heads of Department, all Heads of Unit, and Faculty Officers.
