The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a strong reminder to all candidates who applied for the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) admission using IJMB or JUPEB results. According to the board, candidates must visit any approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre to upload their results as soon as they are released.
JAMB made it clear that failure to upload these results will lead to disqualification from the 2024 admission process.
This was disclosed in a statement by the board’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr Fabian Benjamin. He emphasized that no application marked as “awaiting result” will be considered unless the required documents are submitted in time.
“All candidates who applied for admission through the 2024 Direct Entry (DE) mode using awaiting results from IJMB or JUPEB should urgently visit any approved CBT centre to upload their results as soon as they are released. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from consideration for the 2024 DE admission,” the statement reads.
JAMB also stressed that the same policy applies to UTME candidates—no one will be admitted without verified results. Candidates who do not upload their credentials will be seen as not having any results at all.
Looking ahead, the board advised candidates planning to apply for the 2025 DE to be proactive by ensuring their results are uploaded immediately after release. This will change their status from “awaiting result” and improve their chances of being admitted.
