The Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has announced its Post UTME screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session, inviting qualified candidates to register online.
Registration opened on Monday, May 18, 2026, and will close on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid missing out.
To be eligible, candidates must have chosen RSU as their first-choice university during the 2026 JAMB UTME. Only candidates who scored 190 and above in the UTME are qualified to apply across all faculties.
Candidates must also possess five O’level credit passes as required by the university’s entry requirements for their chosen faculty and department, as published in the JAMB brochure. O’level results must be uploaded during registration. Candidates awaiting their results may still apply but must indicate so, with the understanding that no admission will be approved without a valid O’level result.
To register, candidates should visit apply.rsu.edu.ng and make payment using a debit card. Candidates are encouraged to use the online chat support on the portal for assistance, or visit the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) at Rivers State University for reliable registration and biometric verification.
The screening exercise will be conducted electronically at the university’s ICTC. Candidates are advised to practise using a computer, particularly the mouse and keyboard, ahead of the test.
Each candidate’s screening date, time, and venue will be indicated on the test slip printed after online registration. Candidates who fail to appear on their scheduled date will not be considered for admission, and no exceptions will be made.
Parents, guardians, and well-wishers are advised to stay away from the screening venue.
