The Kwara State Teaching Service Commission has officially opened its application portal for new teaching positions.
According to a statement released in Ilorin on Tuesday by the commission’s Chairman, Mallam Bello Abubakar, interested and qualified candidates can apply via the official link: https://tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng. The portal will go live at midnight on Wednesday, and applications will be accepted until February 14.
Abubakar urged applicants to carefully review the guidelines on the portal and refer to the initial press statement for details on the recruitment process. He emphasized that only candidates with university degrees in relevant subject areas should apply, excluding NCE holders without a university degree.
“Applicants who meet the first-layer recruitment criteria will be invited for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at centers closest to their local government of residence. After the test, successful candidates will undergo drug tests at approved NDLEA centers, along with other verification exercises before employment letters are issued,” Abubakar stated.
He further highlighted that the recruitment process prioritizes qualification, competence, employability, and a willingness to work in rural areas where teachers are most needed.
Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply early and ensure they meet all requirements to enhance their chances of selection.
