TESCOM Chairman, Apostle Biodun Sanyaolu, gave the commendation in Abeokuta during the presentation of awards to outstanding teachers who emerged as winners of the OgunLEARN competition organised by the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Sanyaolu said the level of participation and enthusiasm shown by teachers in the competition reflects their dedication to professional growth and educational development. According to him, many teachers have demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation and are setting positive examples within the profession.
He noted that the competition provided an opportunity for educators to showcase their digital skills, creativity, adaptability, and commitment to excellence. He added that the performance of participants proved that Ogun teachers can effectively compete in the use of modern educational technologies.
“I congratulate and applaud our teachers who have distinguished themselves and embraced the state’s emerging digital innovations in the quest to deliver quality learning experiences to our learners,” he said.

He assured stakeholders that TESCOM would continue to support programmes and policies aimed at strengthening teachers’ skills, encouraging technology adoption, and improving service delivery in schools across the state.
Sanyaolu also encouraged teachers who are yet to fully utilise the platform to take advantage of the opportunities it offers for professional development and improved teaching effectiveness.
