Onuh Favour Enyo-Ojo has made history at Achievers University by emerging as the best graduating student of the Class of 2026 with a perfect 5.00 CGPA.
The Plant Science and Biotechnology graduate achieved the feat out of a possible 5.00 at the university’s 16th Convocation ceremony.
Her outstanding performance has already caught the attention of industry leaders present at the event, who have expressed interest in her. This opens up exciting placement opportunities for the young graduate.
In her valedictory speech, Favour revealed that she only hoped to graduate with a First-Class degree when she gained admission.
She, however, chose to prepare beyond the minimum required. Favour said she studied with the mindset of scoring 90 in exams rather than just the 70 needed for an A.
After a strong first semester, she was warned that her CGPA would eventually drop. She refused to accept that prediction and set her sights on a perfect 5.00 instead.
Favour admitted the journey came with pressure and exhaustion. She gave credit to her family, friends, and the Chapel of Grace and Glory’s Bible Study Unit for giving her strength and purpose.
“We may have to walk our own paths, but we do not have to walk them alone,” she said.
She urged her fellow graduates to embrace the future with courage, work beyond the bare minimum, and never let anyone’s doubts define their possibilities.
Her achievement is a historic milestone for Achievers University and a big inspiration to students everywhere.
