Siwajuola Oladipupo, a student of Babcock University who had been declared missing, has been found alive—bringing relief to his family and all who followed the case.
His mother, Omotayo Fijabi, confirmed the news in a Facebook post on Sunday, simply stating, “My son has been found.” She had been actively updating the public on social media after being unable to contact him for more than 72 hours.
Her emotional plea during a Facebook Live session on Saturday reignited public concern and spurred swift responses from both the Ogun State government and the management of Babcock University.

While many are eager to know the full details of what happened, she appealed for patience, explaining that the family is currently focused on caring for her son and understanding the circumstances.
In her words: “I kindly request your understanding as I prioritise providing adequate care and gathering detailed information regarding the incident. Due to the sensitive nature of this matter, we are operating under strict instructions. My immediate focus is on ensuring his well-being to facilitate a thorough questioning and investigation. I promise to provide a comprehensive account of the events in due course. Thank you for your patience and understanding. God bless.”
