Newcastle University has opened applications for its 2026 Future Leaders Scholarships, offering £10,000 tuition support to help Nigerian students pursue a postgraduate Master’s degree starting in September 2026. The scholarship is a partial tuition award and applies for the full duration of the recipient’s programme.
Awards are released throughout the academic year leading up to the start of the Master’s programme. Eligible students are assessed automatically as part of their programme application.
To qualify, applicants must be domiciled in Nigeria, hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree at Newcastle University’s city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year, and be classified as international for fee purposes.

How to Apply
No separate scholarship application is required. Once an applicant submits their programme application through the official portal, eligible candidates will automatically receive the Newcastle University Nigeria Future Leaders Scholarship.
