The Federal Polytechnic Nekede (NEKEDEPOLY), Owerri, has announced its Post UTME screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into its National Diploma (ND) Regular Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
All 2026 UTME candidates who applied for the polytechnic as their first or second choice institution and scored 100 and above are eligible to participate in the screening.
To qualify, candidates must possess five credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Candidates must also have the appropriate JAMB subject combination for their chosen course.
Candidates who chose the institution as their second or third choice must first change to Federal Polytechnic Nekede as their first choice on the JAMB portal at any accredited CBT centre before they will be considered for admission.
To apply, visit the school’s application portal at ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng/Applicant/Form/PostJambFormInvoiceGeneration, fill in your bio-data, and generate an invoice. Proceed to make a payment of N2,000 using the RRR number on the invoice at any bank via the Remita platform, or pay directly using a Verve, Visa, or Mastercard. After payment, return to the portal, complete your application, and print your acknowledgment slip.
Candidates are required to submit their O’level results, 2026 UTME score, and JAMB subject combination for the course applied for during the screening process. A separate screening fee of N5,000 is also payable through the Remita platform at any commercial bank nationwide.
The polytechnic has warned that any disparity in O’level result grades, JAMB score, or JAMB registration number will automatically disqualify a candidate.
