The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced that certificates for candidates who sat its examinations up to 2024 are now ready for collection.
This was contained in a notice signed by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed. It was made available on Friday in Benin.
The notice covers certificates for the May/June National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations.
It also covers the November/December NBC and NTC, as well as the Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations.
Candidates who sat the May/June examinations should collect their certificates from the schools where they registered and wrote the exams.
“Those who sat for the November/December examinations are to collect their certificates from NABTEB offices in the states where they registered and sat for the examinations,” he said.
To collect a certificate, candidates are required to present:
- A valid means of identification, such as the National Identification Number (NIN) or a driver’s licence.
- One passport-size photograph with a red background.
- A statement of result or NABTEB online printout containing their examination details, for November/December candidates.
November/December candidates must also pay an approved collection fee of N1,000, excluding statutory online charges.
“Candidates seeking to collect November/December certificates are also required to present their statement of result or NABTEB online printout containing their examination details,” he said.
The registrar stressed that collection is restricted to bona fide candidates. Only genuine candidates will be issued their certificates.
Candidates are advised to follow the prescribed procedures and prepare their documents before going to collect.
