The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has opened applications for its prestigious Foreign Postgraduate Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in these fields:
- Agricultural Science
- Engineering
- Environmental Science
- Geosciences
- Information Technology
- Medical Sciences
- Law
- Architecture
To be eligible, you must:
- Be from the Niger Delta Region
- Hold a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Second Class Lower degree
- Be no older than 40 years
How Selection Works:
The process is transparent and merit-based:
- Submit your application online at www.nddc.gov.ng
- Initial shortlisting is based on your WAEC/NECO results and degree classification
- You must provide proof of your Local Government Area of origin
- Shortlisted candidates will write a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in Rivers State
- A score of 70% or above is required to move to the next phase
- Final verification will be done by your Local Government Area and Community Development Committee

- LGA Identification Letter
- Admission letter from a recognized foreign university
- Relevant university degrees
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
