The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence six new undergraduate degree programmes on a full-time basis from the 2026/2027 academic session.
The university is now inviting qualified candidates who wish to study any of the newly approved courses to visit any accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre to effect a change of course before the admission window closes.
The six newly approved programmes are:
- B.Sc. Geophysics
- B.Sc. Public Health
- B.Sc. Biotechnology
- B.Sc. Science Laboratory Technology
- B.Sc. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
- B.Sc. Clothing and Textile
The NUC approval marks a significant expansion of FUNAAB’s academic offerings, giving prospective students more course options at one of Nigeria’s foremost federal universities.
Candidates who already have a UTME registration but chose a different institution or course can take advantage of the JAMB change of course or institution window by visiting any accredited CBT centre near them to update their details.
Prospective applicants who meet the admission requirements for any of the six programmes are advised to act quickly and complete the change of course process without delay.
