The 2006 graduating set of the Department of Economics at the University of Ilorin has donated 15 desktop computers to the department’s Econometrics Laboratory, marking their 20th anniversary of graduation with a meaningful act of giving back.
The computers were officially received by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Abubakar Yinusa Muhammed, and the Head of the Department of Economics, Professor Abdulhakeem Abdullahi Kilishi.
Both officials expressed deep gratitude to the alumni for their continued commitment to supporting academic excellence at their alma mater.
The donation is expected to enhance learning and research activities in the Econometrics Laboratory, giving current students access to improved computing resources for their studies.
