The initiative is aimed at improving campus safety, student welfare and service delivery.

The workshop held at Adeline Hall in two batches to accommodate staff from both units.

It was facilitated by Dr Ayobami Owolabi under the auspices of the Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management (IPDCRM).

The training was approved and sponsored by the university management.

A key part of the programme was an Attitudinal Checklist completed by participants to assess their workplace attitudes and behaviour.

The assessment was designed to measure participants’ understanding of the concepts taught and identify areas that need improvement.

The organisers said strengthening the capacity of staff responsible for security and hostel management is essential to maintaining a safe campus environment.
