The Light and Bells Health Foundation has announced its 2025 Tuition Support and Assistance Scholarship, aimed at supporting medical and health-related students across Africa. The initiative is designed to ease financial pressure and empower future healthcare professionals studying in government-owned institutions.
Scholarship Categories
The foundation offers three categories of tuition support, with a total of six students to be selected across different health disciplines.
The G&G Tuition Support/Assistance Scholarship is available to students studying Medicine (MBBS or MD) at any government institution, whether federal, state, or local. Two students will be awarded under this category.
The JSI Tuition Support/Assistance Scholarship is open to students pursuing Nursing degrees, including B.N.Sc, HND, or BSN, at government-owned institutions. Two successful applicants will be selected.
The Vision Tuition Support/Assistance Scholarship is targeted at students enrolled in other allied health programmes such as Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Public Health, and related fields at government institutions. Two students will also benefit from this category.
Scholarship Benefits
Each successful applicant will receive a scholarship award of $100, which will be paid directly into the recipient’s university or institutional account as tuition support.
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to complete all mandatory fields on the scholarship application form. All personal, academic, and institutional information provided must be accurate, verifiable, and up to date.
Application Deadline
The deadline for submission is December 19, 2025.
