Who Can Apply?
This scholarship is open to both new and continuing Berkeley students who meet the following criteria:
- New high school applicants: California residents or AB 540-eligible students with a GPA of 4.1 or higher.
- Community college transfer students: California residents or AB 540-eligible students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Continuing UC Berkeley students: Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Students with financial need who don’t meet the GPA cutoff may still qualify for a University Grant instead.
How to Apply
There’s no separate application for this scholarship. Students are automatically considered once they apply for financial aid. Here’s how:
